Growing up, my dad had me constantly repeat that quote aloud, over and over. As I’ve matured, I now understand the power of positive thinking and taking accountability for one’s own success. A positive attitude, immense gratitude to others, and good old fashioned kindness have taken me far; and that is exactly how I run my business.
I believe that amazing communications and public relations are what separate good businesses from those that excel. There are so many wonderful entrepreneurs offering great products and services who simply need to find new and innovative ways to get in front of their audience. That’s where I can help. I began my career as a writer and have since evolved to become a content strategist. Over the last decade, I’ve built my portfolio working in marketing, strategic communications, and management consulting for some of the world’s largest companies. Now, I am taking the skills I’ve developed along my journey and helping small businesses grow.
I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and earned a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University. When I’m not writing, tweeting, or chasing a deadline, I can be found taking my Peloton for a spin (gotta close the rings on my Apple watch!), trying a new recipe (croissants, anyone?), or dancing around my apartment to my fave Beyonce (Beyonce…enough said).
